Inkii paused outside her little sisters room, as she could hear her talking to her. She turned her ear to hear everything better.
"Its okay Mister I won't tell the others." came her sister Sally's voice. Inkii heared her sister giggle. "Duke wouldn't like that at all, Mister." came her sisters voice happily.
Inkii placed her hand on the handle of the door and began to slowly open the door.
"Sally, can I come in?"
Inkii could here the sound her sister gasping as things falling over and something slid shut.
"Come in." came Sally's voice.
Inkii opened the door to see Sally sitting on the bottom bunk of her bed wrapped up in a blanket, her teddy bears head just barely poking out of it. She looked about the room to see everything as it would normally be, the small table covered with dolls and tea set, books on the shelves, and toys strung about.
"Is everything all right Sally, your not down stairs watching tv with the others."
Sally started to play with her teddy bear. "Duke won't let me watch Sponge Bob, he says its a bad cartoon."
Inkii giggled, "Well how about we go to the den and I'll watch the cartoon with you, sissy." she said still looking about the room.
"But you hate Sponge Bob, sis." Sally said with wide eyes.
"So, doesn't mean I won't watch t with you." Inkii shrugged. "Come on, it'll be fun." she said holding her hand out to her sister.
"NO!" Shouted Sally as a force knocked Inkii back into the wall.
Inkii gasped and looked up to see a dark looming shadow. The shadow waved what appeared to be a hand and formed an ebony scythe. Inkii began to stand, and frown upon her face as she thought. 'Not again.' The Shadow struck Inkii across the face with the flat of the blade. Inkii fell to the floor, her last vision was of the figure looming over her the scythe coming down at her fast.
