Is it just me, or is Thanksgiving the best holiday in the world? No worries about getitng other people gifts...just a day off school to eat and relax. I don't know when excactly I get my food, but hey, as long as there's pumpkin pie, I'm happy. If there's one thing I love more than poutine it's pumpkin pie.
However, I'm once again procrastinating when I should be doing homework. I've got history homework due Wednesday, all about l'Acadie (Acadia) and after spending a good half hour on Google looking for a good map to trace the migration of certain families, I've decided I deserve a break...again. I'm going to regret it though. I work tomorrow night, so I'll have to spend lunch time in the library finishing that up, and then I've got a Law Test on Thursday, on everything we've covered since September. That's seven chapters of work. Then again, once I've got the vocab and basic Charter rights down I should be fine.
And I get Friday off school ^_^ After the big fight I wrote about an entry or two back, the school decided they need a day for the teachers to meet and discuss what needs to be done. So for students, that means a three day week xd
In other news, I've come to the conclusion that I need some new books. I've just started the Two Towers for the seventh or eighth time, and I have to admit, LOTR is getting a bit too familiar. Looks like it's time to hunt down all the Tolkien books I've yet to read, or at the very least track down Unfinished Tales and reread that. Although it seems to have disappeared, which, quite frankly, sucks. It was the only one of my books still in good condition (TTT is literally in two peices, the Silmarillion looks as though it's been through the washing machine..really it just got dropped in the bathtub...), but Eru knows what it will look like once I find it again. I do have a dog after all. I wouldn't be surprised if he's dragged in out of the house and under the shed by now. sweatdrop
