• "Miranda, wait! I don't think this is a good idea!" I shouted to my little sister, Miranda.

Miranda had planned to climb the mountain near our village today.

At first, I thought she was just being funny, but she was serious.

As her elder brother, I couldn't just let her go, at least not alone.

She didn't tell Mom and Dad about this. Mom and Dad is always in our family's

Inn, and because of that, we weren't very close to them.

"Shut up, I don't need you to follow me. I don't care what you think! I'm climbing the

mountain ,whether you like it or NOT!" The eleven year old girl snapped at me.

She was determined to climb the mountain no matter what I say. I can tell that she didn't

really like the brother of hers.

She's always rude to me and ignored me when ever I talked to her, treating me like a

    stranger.

We we're both panting heavily. We finally reached the mountain. It was only about a

    kilometer

away from our village, but we were running towards it.

"P-please, Miranda you shouldn't climb the mountain, its too dangerous!" I said, still panting.

"S-s-shut up, weakling! Just because you can't do it it doesn't mean I can't!" Miranda replied.

She wasn't panting anymore, but her voice was trembling. She was scared. She didn't want

me to think that she was weak, she really didn't want to climb the mountain. She just

wanted to show me how 'brave' she was.

I smiled. She was still as persistent as usual. "Okay then, let's do this!" I said.

She didn't show it, but I knew she was relieved. " You aren't such of a Scaredy-Cat, after all!"

    She said.

We started climbing the mountain after a short rest.

The mountain wasn't very high. We reached the top of the mountain in about forty five

    minutes.

"Well, that wasn't very fun. I'm not even tired !" Miranda groaned.

"I told you, it wasn't a great idea!" I retorted.

"Shut up!" Miranda snapped at me.

"Do you always have to be such a rude little thing?" I said, feeling a bit irritated by

    her rude behavior.

    "Whatever!" Miranda said.

We paced around the top of the mountain for awhile.

I saw a weird hole, a hole almost the size of my hand, but bigger. I stared in the hole and

    saw something bright.

"Hey, Miranda! Come here!" I shouted to Miranda.

"What?" Miranda replied in an annoyed voice.

"Look! There's something in this hole!" I said.

"Really?" Miranda didn't sound like she believed me. She walked towards me and

squatted down. Lowering her head to the hole I pointed to her. "It looks like.. a ball of light.."

"Doesn't it..look like a wisp ? You know,in the book of the village's legends? It had a story

about a ball of light, called A Wisp Of Light. I can't remember the story... but the book

indicates that if anyone touches the Wisp Of Light, they will be transported into another

World.. I wonder if its true.." I told her.

" Well, there's only one way to find out..." Miranda said, looking at me.

She was telling me to touch it, but without words. I know, because she's my sister.

i gulped. "Here goes everything!" I said, as I lowered my hand into the hole carefully...
