THE REAL FEELING
Once upon a summers night
Sat a girl so fair and right
But as the moon rose from below
A stale wind began to blow
The girl in the window turned in fright
For she knew the horrific site
The leaves started swishing
All the windows broke
The girl swallowed hard
Afraid she might choke
For she knew below her window there sat
The mysterious rider wearing all black
He sat there all night awaiting her hand
For he knew she was the best in the land
But she didn't love him
There was someone else
A town boy named Dustin was the one for herself
But instead of facing her true fear
She ran away and he drew near
She knew she could not
Beat him alone
She needed the one who she called her own
She ran to him then
Down near the shore
And told him her love
Was forever and more
And there they stood
To await his coming
And the whole time they never stopped humming
They hummed the song that drove evil away
And as he approached
He fell in dismay
For he knew her love
Had already be taken
And he knew he courage
Could never be shaken
For there on the shore
Stood he and she
In love with each other
And that he could see
He rode off into the night
And that began the most beautiful sight
The sun came arising
Up over that hill
And there the two stood
With strength and good will
Now you may think this is just a tall tale
But there love is strong
And will never go stale
And now standing before you
You see the great sight
Of the girl and her love
Who stood there that night
When they are together
They will always be strong
Because in their eyes
There is nothing wrong
And that is the feeling
That is the best to feel
And that is the feeling
You can only make real.

- Perfect misery and show no guilt. Only then will your poem not wilt.

That was really sweet.
I was wondering, what/who was the shadowed figure? ;o - Report As Spam
