As Kimono325 said, I'm really tough on writing. Honestly. I usually give people a hard time for every little thing. But this was just....oh wow. You have talent. Not many guys write like this, this deeply and clearly. It was beyond well written. I'm glad she enjoyed it.

Now, usually I'm a bit tough on my ratings, I won't lie. But this song absolutely, totally, and completely DESERVED all five stars, and more. I simply adore this song. I've tried music to these lyrics at least four times in my mind, and I'm sure it's not nearly as good as what you wrote. This is completely amazing, and a delight to read. Keep singing! Your girlfriend is some awesome inspiration if she made you write this masterpiece!
