• He said he adored,
    She believed him,
He said he'd give her the world,
    And she followed.
Time will be spent on her,
    And her alone,
He siad it to her face,
    But who knew,
    That he was telling her
The truth that needed to be told?
    No one,
    No one at all.
    She gave her all,
When he only gave it half,
    Just half,
    Nothing more or less.
    He said he cared,
    She turned away,
He said he would be better,
    But would he?
    Soon enough time flew by,
    In weeks and days,
    She began to notice,
    He lied to her face.
    He said he would stop,
He said he would let her go,
    She said nothing and,
    Finally said no.
    She said that he lied
    To her face,
    Straight through his teeth,
Never again will she give him anything.
    Months have past,
    And she walked on by,
    Watching him hold another,
    It's just another lie.
    She just walked and
    Closed her eyes,
    Never again she said,
    To that big lie.
