He and She

He makes her fall again and again
But every time she picks herself up

He tries and tries to hurt her
But she says she can not be hurt

He strikes again and again
But she still stands tall

He gives up for a while but then he strikes his hardest
But she takes it without a word

One day she strikes back and he does not stand
But she walks away with her head held high

Now she is gone with her cuts and bruises
But she still stands tall and picks herself up

He realized he made a mistake and now he wants her back
But she says he is a fool and leaves him in the street
