Where is that bright light?
That I have been looking for,
Where is my shooting star?
Could it be outside my door?
So here I lay,
Upon the floor,
Wishing you were here,
Outside my door.
I wish you could come in,
And shower me with love,
And next thing you’d know,
I’d me trapped in a bear hug.
I waited two months,
Then three,
Then four,
Wishing you were here,
Outside my door.
Then the day came,
And you were coming back,
I got so exited,
Like a mouse on a mouse trap.
So I got off the floor,
And waited for you,
Out side my door,
I looked up at the sky,
To see a shooting star,
Then I heard a voice so pure,
Sing, “There you are!”
I look up to see,
The person I’ve been looking for,
And like in my dreams,
He was right outside my door.
