• Marble-less

    Emotions are like marbles
to the children that collect them.
They come in different shapes and sizes,
and are either fancied or rejected.

Some children have a large collection.
    Marbles that surpass
    Joe's average comprehension.

Some children like to stick with favorites.
    Marbles jaded,
    and others wasted.

Engaged in games they play with friends.
    Marbles won,
    and marbles lost.
Yet, who's the winner in the end?

    Dear children need to learn,
that marbles are for childish play.
Yet, most children never grow up.
So I've given all my marbles away.
