It started off normal
Everything seemed right
But there were these two guys
We thought they wanted to fight
But there was no fight
When our paths did cross
They were trying to find a party
And they had got lost
Their names were Simon and Chris
And they weren't packing any heat
But they were two of the craziest dudes
That you'd probably ever meet
We decided not to just
Sit around and scrounge
We grabbed some money
And went to the smoker's lounge
There was nothing there
That I would ever think to buy
I didn't smoke
And I wouldn't begin to try
But they said there's a way
To feel relaxed and withdrawn
And it was all herbal
It was called Red Dawn
They said that junk
Would feel awesome to your brain
So me, Max and Andy bought it
17 dollars down the drain
In a small little bottle
There was the red drink
It was new to us
We didn't know what to think
With one ounce at a time
We took the first hit
But it tasted so bad
I almost wanted to quit
Nothing seemed to happen
As I thought with a frown
But then we went to huddle house
To eat some nasty hashbrowns
Then Simon wanted to
Try to test my pace
So we went in the parking lot
And had a little race
I won pretty easy
Even though it was a sprint
And after we ate the hashbrowns
It was Simon's money spent
We were headed back to Andy's
When we took another hit
It still tasted awful
But I began to feel it a bit
In the back of the car
Was where me and Andy sat
When Simon and Chris
Thought they saw a bobcat
Then we turned around
And it wasn't to my surprise
That there was no bobcat
That stuff had gotten to their eyes
When we were riding
The driver's door was open freely
And they kept shouting out the window
"Are you Brooke McFeely?!"
When I said these guys were crazy
Those definitely weren't lies
They even started to pick a fight
With these two big black guys
When it felt as though the night
Was at the peak of the ridge
We headed back to Andy's house
Going down Deans Bridge
We saw two Mexicans
Walking down the street
But we didn't think anything
While in the backseat
Then I realized who it was
It all began to click
Those two Mexicans
Were actually Adrian and Nick
But at that time
That we did not know
So we went to Nick's window
And had a little light show
With the horns, lights
And even the alarm
We scared them so bad
It worked like a charm
But when we finally
Went into Nick's place
I could tell that stuff was working
By the look on my face
We were already feeling different
As I felt I could bounce
And with chin's up
We took our third ounce
Then we just goofed around
And my body felt dazed
But it felt so good
I was freaking amazed
At this point
I could feel the heat from my head
I looked in the mirror
And my face was bloodshot red
They said that was fine
And that we had enough
But we wanted to take it all
We thought we was tough
We took the last shot
It was now all gone
It was in us now
A bottle of Red Dawn
Now this is when my memories
Started to get a little hazy
Because we were so high
I was going freaking crazy
My pupils were huge
And I couldn't catch my breath
I didn't know what was happening
I was getting scared to death
It was my high blood pressure
They began to explain
It felt like my whole body
Was going completely insane
I began to drink some water
That was being poured in a cup
And at that point
Neither of us could even stand up
Andy was under a table
And I was in a chair
But we were so high
We didn't even care
By the way I was talking
I seemed anything but shy
Especially when I kept saying
"Im gonna die, I'm gonna die!"
I kept flicking Andy off
But that's really nothing new
But it was strange when he said
"I'm gonna throw the floor at you"
There was also something else
That had caught my attention
I didn't know that retro-spect
Was really another dimension
We had another type of conflict
In our state of disposition
When me and Andy
Had a standing up competition
We both stood up
As if we were possessed
And as I stood there
I felt like I was the best
We kept talking crap back and forth
In our own self defense
But half the stuff we said
Didn't even make sense
For four whole hours
Both our brains were fried
And I laughed so hard
That I almost could have cried
There was a period
At around 4 o'clock
Where our heads felt fine
But our bodies were in shock
My body felt as though
It was made of lead
Nick even had to help me
Get into the bed
Andy was still there
He couldn't even slouch
He just stayed there
And passed out on the couch
When it was all over
I don't exactly know when
We both agreed
Never to do that again
If you could of seen us then
It would have been a terrible sight
Because we just finished having
One really crazy night
