Anger burned
Lives were lost
What was learned
Wasn't worth the cost
The sword was swift
Death drags its chains
Emotions shift
Terror reigns
Darkness departed
The dragon cries
What once was brave-hearted
Is now lost in his eyes
Tears pour like a flood
And drop to the grave
Stained by the blood
Of those he couldn't save
By pale moon light
Muted wings flutter by
He Attempted to turn
But too tired to fight
Before his eyes
In the dead of night
He is haunted by the flight
Of hells black butterfly
