Finally, here is the beginning of Moon Child:
There are many stories that have to do with Moon Child. It is said that she is born of and on the moon (thus the name, "Moon Child"). She, being a child, got bored and called a star to her. The star turned into a cloud and brought her down to the dark side of the Earth, where her moon was still visable.
As she wandered the Earth for several nights, it became apparent that she could not live in the daytime where her moon was not visible. She could only leave her little dark forest at nighttime.
Since she could only be out at night, few humans saw her. But she saw them and realized that she looked somewhat like them. And she wanted them to know that she was there. So, with her power to call up water from deep within the Earth, she made the ground wet so that, in the morning, the humans would feel the wet ground and know she was there on the Earth.
One day, Moon Child was walking around when she heard a mother telling her child a bed-time story. Moon Child enjoyed hearing the stories and lingered at the window to listen.
The story was about flowers. Since all flowers closed up and went to sleep at night, Moon Child listened intently to the mother's description of these "flowers."
Later, she walked into her forest and looked for the perfect spot where her moon shined on the grass of a clearing. She thought about what the "flowers" looked like and closed her eyes. She started speaking a spell, adding in what the flowers looked like and how they smelled so beatufully.
She opened her eyes, and, there, spread out in front of her, was an entire meadow of the blue-white flowers SHE created and facing her moon. Since then, they were called Lum Kina Florsas; or, Moon Child's Flowers.
As the days and weeks went by, Moon Child realized that her moon was getting less and less visible. And, as well as her moon diasappearing, her powers and strength were disappearing. She knew she had to find a way to get back to her moon, but how?
She pondered for the final weeks of the waning moon and finally came up with an idea. She took all her moon dust and threw it into the stars. It formed a bridge from the Earth to her moon. Although, where the ends are to be found will forever be a mystery to all but Moon Child herself. Humans from then on called the bridge, "the Milky Way." On every new moon, when her moon cannot be seen, she crosses the Milky Way back to her moon home.
