so im on my way home from the shopping center, when i see a bunch of people saying 'Support blah blah blah' im not sure what it said, as my attention was diverted to the next sign: "Oppose Gay Marriage"
at that point, i'm just thinking 'What The Fcuk.'
i know this issue has been going around forever already, but i still get sick thinking or hearing about the issue. gawdamn. if being gay was so wrong, then God wouldn't have allowed homosexuality to even exist. people that are gay are like that for a reason. and other people really shouldn't go around preaching what's right and not right based on just the Bible. it's like 'If it's in the Bible, we should preach and enforce it 100%' well, i do belive there are people still stealing, having premarital sex, murdering, etc. i mean, sure, homosexuality doesn't extend to that extent, but just by denying someone the right to commit their love to someone else just because their different, and because the Bible says so, just makes that person a hypocrite.
alright, i'm sorry. don't respond to that paragraph up above, as it probably doesn't make any sense anyway. but think this: have you really experienced firsthand what a gay person goes through Phsyically and Psychologically? i don't mean to be prejudice, but we go through more insecurity, pain, and not to mention loneliness than most people label us to have. so just the thought of not 'allowing' us to commit our love for someone to keep the 'sanctity of marriage' is utter BS.
