Say something to let me know that you are aware that my heart is heavy. Let me know that there is some connection between us. It is not just something fake and random; let me know that beneath this all there is something worth fighting for. Let me know that I am impatient for a reason, and it is not all based on false promises and seasons. Let me know, oh please just tell me that this, whatever it be, is real, I want to know that you feel exactly as I feel. As if the world beneath us has stopped spinning, as if for a second everything could be defeated, just let me, know it is okay to feel this way, cause the feeling is mutual and does not only exist my way. Let me know that this longing, this desire to hear from you, to know that I am in your thoughts is just not based on my foolish feelings. Not based on childish assumptions that you feel the way I do…that this craziness, this cold hearted happiness, is shared between us. I just want a yes or no; I just want to know that this is real and not some kid of sick joke! If it is then maybe I won’t give up so easily and if it is then maybe this once I won’t push you away as harshly.
