OMG..have you ever gone onto DeviantART.com and been bombarded with generic anime art that spans through the various artists' galleries, or piles and piles of yaoi and yuri that should not even be there since the characters the artists choose are not that way?
Does it ever make you think, 'Hm...why can't people be more original?'
Well that's how it is with me...anime art on different sites [not just DevART] are looking more and more like each other in execution and style, since everyone probably wants to copy everyone else. Sad really...it also shows how there is no more imagination nor creativity in this world, other than the idiotic sexual remarks and sexual stories going around.
Sure, there are no more real Picassos, but that's okay. We just found another move to add to the Kama-sutra!
*sigh...*
It's sad really...I just wish that people would realize that their artwork isn't having the same effect on people as art used to have years ago...how people really thought out of the box and actually created something! Invented something new for the masses to see!!
Another thing I have to add to this rant is that there are too many people saying nice lies to artists so that they don't hurt their feelings. Screw that! Stop being politically incorrect and nice, and tell them that there art sucks when it sucks! Give them advice to better themselves and perhaps better yourself in the long run! If they don't like you in the end because of that, then they aren't worth talking to and they shouldn't be showing their art in the first place if they can't take criticism or ideas other than their own!
