Well, my challenge as of this moment is to use all the emoticons while telling a story at the same time (fictional). eek Will it work? Maybe. Let's find out:

I was walking home one day from school when a strange thing happened. I came accross a strange-looking stick. While in my opinion sticks have always just been things to kick or throw at people, this one was different. It seemed at one time a vine had grown around this stick, creating a perfect swirl around the entire length of it. I was going to kick it away, as I often do with things that are in my way, but there was something about this that intrigued me. I bent down to pick it up, but just as I touched it, a bright light appeared behind me and someone grabbed my shoulder. Still holding the stick, I whirled around and a boy stood in front of me, wearing strange clothes.
"Um... that's mine." He said, pointing to the stick.
"No!" I exclaimed, turning some, guarding the stick- for now that someone owned, perhaps I could swindle it? "Finders, keepers, Mr. No Fashion Sense!" Now I knew that wasn't a good insult, but I was concerned about the latest fashions and styles at the time, so it seemed like a good idea.
The boy seemed shocked at my words, but continued "Please give me back my wernoof, I need it for study!"
"Eh? Your what?"
"That!" He pointed to the stick again.
I eyed the stick again, and noticed small detailed engravings around it that followed the pattern of the swirl. Now I really wated it. But not for myself, of course. To sell. I could gain a fortune off of this piece of driftwood!
"Meoonakepa!!" The boy called out. In an instant the stick was gone, and replacing it was a long thin snake. I dropped it instantly, and the boy easily caught it and to my surprise it changed back the second he touched it. "Thank you." he said and turned away.
"Hey- wait a minute!! How do you explain all this?" I placed my hands on my hips and expected an explanation from him.
Turning, he leaned his head back and smirked. "If you wanna find out, then follow me. If you don't, then perhaps one day you'll be sorry."
"Huh?"
He held out his partially gloved hand to me and said, "Niamrika!" and a light opened up behind him. "Well, young lady?"
I blushed openly and stood there agape. He had soft eyes and a warm, knowing smile. "Well, I- uh..." I stuttered. It was then I noticed for the first time the swirl under his right eye. A mark! A mark of magic!! My eyes grew wider at him as I nodded slowly.
"Excellent! Come along then, young maiden!" he pulled me into that light behind him and for an instant I felt nothing,hear nothing, saw nothing.

okay well, I didnt get to use the emoticons like I wanted to, but herethere all are anyway!!
