Don't use footage from other AMVs.

Don't let subtitles in your AMV.
(3)
Don't use openings or closings unless they're textless openings and endings.
(4)
Don't use the same clip more than twice(Limit it to once,and if you do do it twice, make sure they are very far apart from eachother).
(5)
Don't have their lips move in the anime unless they're lip syincing.

Make your AMV with only anime that you know the story line of.

Listen to your music. Does it go with the music? Make sure it does.

Put bookmarks on certain beats that you will probubly change the scean on.

This can help fit sceans that are to short, or if a scean needs to be quicker.

This'll either allow you to fade your images into each other, or if nothings below it, fade away.
