So the soccer games this morning. I just wanted to stay home and sleep in, but Sam said he would bring everyone instead of just a select few. So at eight we headed out on the bus with Fruit Punch stalking us. I barely even tried warming up because I knew I wouldn't go in. I had Lauren and Marilyn ahead of me in the goalie positions, and Marilyn didn't get to go in for either game.
So first game we won. Randi made the first goal of the season. wink
Second game we lost. Sam was furious. He lectured us until the entire stadium thing was empty and then told us to be ready for Monday....
And through the whole thing, Punchy was curled up on the bleachers reading Twilight and looking like quite the little emo kid. Really, far away, she looked like Cameron when his hair was red...
But I wonder. When he said "Be ready for Monday," did he mean for the session, or the game? Because a game is on at two, so we can't have our second session. So does that mean that we have to practice on the weekend so we'll be ready for the game? Or is he going to run us ragged in the first session? But that wouldn't make sense, because he wouldn't want us tired for the game. I think.......?
Trying to decifer people's words makes my brain feel squished. I need to stop always overanalyzing what everyone says.....

ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
