Band....that day was so long yesterday
God damn was yesterday to damn long. Getting up at freaking 8 in the morning only to go to school since the band had to perform in the Oktoberfest parade. Freaking 9:15 I was up there and so was everyone else but we didn't even get our uniforms until like 10 and the parade starts at 11. Then it was so freaking muggy it was unbelievable. Thank goodness we didn't need any jackets or else I would have been complaining even more. Then walking like half a mile down the street playing wasn't fun with the sun beating down on us and then there was fazing in our music when we played in the square. (fazing meaning the two sides of the band are off from one another. One half right the other either ahead or behind) but it was fixed. Then we had to travel all the way back to school to pick up the new chaperones and the students who had a X country meet and volleyball people to travel to Shaker for a football game that the put on a damn Saturday instead of a Friday. scream For a lunch we got some really tiny subs from Subway and I hate subs so I didn't even bother to eat them but I had a sandwich I brought luckily. Even worse it was the middle of the day so it was at it's hottest and it started to rain on us and we had our heavy rain coats which made us even hotter and it rained on and off before we did our halftime show and heard a few boos just because we sounded better then Shaker. Which we did since they had music on the field and still messed up while we march without music. And a good band marches without music. And after that we had to finish watching the game when we were supposed to leave at 3rd quarter since we had to switch out of our green pants into our white pants with our jackets this time because we had to go to Solon for a band festival around 7 and we had to eat so that cut us back a lot. So we got back to the school around 5:30ish and had some really small slices of pizza which didn't fill up anyone. Left the school around 6:30 in the full uniform and it was hot as hell and everyone was still all sweaty and it was horrible. But it got better as soon as we didn't need the raincoats again so we left them on the bus and as soon as we sat down in the bleachers for the fest, it started to rain yet again and man were our uniforms soaked on the shoulders since, out hats caught most of the rain and if we moved our head too much all this water fell off our hats onto our shoulders. Seeing all those other bands were amazing and people liked seeing us as well which was awesome since most people don't like Bedford. But man on man were there so many hot guys in the other bands. Eastlake had a sexy drum major and sexy percussionists. But yeah I didn't get back to school until like 9 pmish. But on the bus ride home we were so hyped up everyone was screaming like maniacs and I started all the screaming yelling "BEARCATSSSSSSSS!!!!!" and Dylan followed along with everyone else. Then Mercedes and I both were randomly yelling after doing a running start and stopping only a few inches away from each other. We got weird looks but we didn't care. On the bus it was fun because we were singing old Backstreet Boys songs, Fall out boy, old Brittany Spears, and other random songs and the whole back of the bus trying to out do us with some gay rap songs. I was in the back/upper middle. So yeah I didn't have much time at home yesterday and was so freaking hungry. Then I went to my friends house to play video games and as soon as I got home went right to sleep.
