Miwa couldn't remember where she was before. All she knew was that she was dead, and the frozen ground beneath her feet hurt to walk on. She was very lonely, and took a walk in the forest surrounding the Yusajishi district. She climbed up a snow covered hill, and at the top tripped over an unearthed tree root. She tumbled down the other side of the hill, but a very large hand grabbed her before she got too far. She looked up and came face to face with a rather large lizard like Hollow. Miwa had never seen a Hollow, and didn't know what to think. The Hollow smiled at her, and lifted her up. It held her close to it, sharing its unnatural body heat. It brought her to its home, a large cave beneath a waterfall. He taught her to steal, so she wouldn't grow weak, and kept her hidden when local bullies threatened her. The Hollow explained to her everything about itself, its own growth changes, the balance of souls, and the shinigami that governed that balance. When Miwa met Yunsung, the Hollow returned to Heuco Mundo, and Miwa promised that she would find him again.
