You said it was time to die,
And noone asked you why.
I told you to quit doing drugs,
For you knew that it was wrong.

You swore you would stop,
But one day i saw you down the block.
You were high and not remembering,
The friendship that we were sharing.

You told me to get lost,
Though i knew you would be the one losing.
You ignored me the rest of the day,
That was when i decided not to stay.

I left you there alone,
To do your drugs at home,
I said when you wanted to stop,
I'd be here so drugs won't be a stumbling block.

You shrugged and said that was fine,
Though you knew you would never be mine.
I loved you from that frist day,
But beacuse you did drugs,
I didn't want to stay.

When you're ready to move on,
I'll probably be gone.
I wont be able to love you,
Beacuse of what we've both been through.
