If jealousy were human,
She’d be tall, lean, and fair,
But her wings would be ugly,
And black would be her hair.
She dresses in black and green,
Like the color of the eyes.
She looks so sweet, so pure,
But has a nasty surprise.
She tempts us all into her web,
Like spiders do to flies.
And keeps us there, in her trap
Surrounded by her lies.
So I leave you with this advice:
And all of this I will advise,
Steer clear of the temptress Jealousy,
For she is the Devil in disguise
She’d be tall, lean, and fair,
But her wings would be ugly,
And black would be her hair.
She dresses in black and green,
Like the color of the eyes.
She looks so sweet, so pure,
But has a nasty surprise.
She tempts us all into her web,
Like spiders do to flies.
And keeps us there, in her trap
Surrounded by her lies.
So I leave you with this advice:
And all of this I will advise,
Steer clear of the temptress Jealousy,
For she is the Devil in disguise
