Terry waited on a bench at a bus stop. The only thought that came to him after a while was, 'God I had these bus waits.' It was dark at this time, being only 8 at night. However, an approaching winter takes its toll on the hours of daylight. Of course, darkness surrounded him at all sides, stretching beyond the vast horizons hidden behind the city buildings. The only illumination provided was the light from an overhead street lamp. A sigh escaped his lips, transforming into a white mist. It coiled and uncoiled before it disappeared from sight. His scarf lay motionless and undisturbed all around him. The red tattered cloth didn't even budge despit the slight breeze that nipped at his fiery red hair. His skin beneath the thick shirt he was wearing was goose pimpled and chilled. After a couple of minutes passed, a thought came to his mind. He removed the glove on his right hand and stared at his hand. Suddenly his hand was ignited! He lifted up his hand and stared at it. The red and orange flames were hot against his skin and burnt a little. The flames curled around his wrist and licked at his finger tips. This would have caused permanent burn damage to any other human through boils and black skin. This was only one of the perks of being a shapeshifter, no permanent damage. This is due to the constantly regenerating cells of his body. Suddenly, a light in the distance split into dual headlights.
