Chapter 1

“Saiyuki !!!!” said her dad, “Get ready for school its your first day you don’t want to be late.”She got up and took shower and put her clothes on. Saiyuki’s life is dull and as boring as can be. She just moved to Japan and is a new student at a new school. Saiyuki went down stairs and got her backpack
“Bye mom and dad” she said and went out the door.
On her way to school she was thinking “I really hope I like it here” she was sad because she missed China and her friends. When she arrived at school she was shy and didn’t say a word to anyone. Saiyuki saw a manga that she wanted read from the school library she checked it out and started reading. She wasn’t paying attention to where she was going and bumped into this guy name Kyo. He is a bully and he doesn’t like it when people get in his way he hits both men and women.
“Sorry” Saiyuki said “I wasn’t watching were I was…….”
“HEY!!” Kyo said “I don’t care what your sorry for.....watch where your GOING!!! Then Kyo was about to hit Saiyuki. But just as he was about to hit her, a boy came out of nowhere and punched him! The boy said
“ I thought I told you before that if you ever try to hurt anyone in this school you’ll have to deal with me.”
“That was then this is now” Kyo said.
Then the teacher said,
“Hey! If you have something to settle do it outside the building”
So they followed the teacher’s order and Kyo said, “Alright after school let’s settle this”
The boy said
“Like it matters cause you know I’m gonna kick your butt”
After school there was a group of people cheering “FIGHT”
Saiyuki was watching this but wasn’t cheering because she was shy.
“I’m here you ready” said Kyo
The boy said with a smirk,
“I don’t have to fight you cause you know your gonna lose.” Kyo got mad and charged right at him, he tried to punch the boy, but he dodged it. Then when the boy saw an open spot on Kyo, he punched him. It was a one hit O.K. As Saiyuki was watching she was think “wow.” After that Saiyuki was going home when she forgot she had to go get some groceries from the store. After she got them she was walking home when she ran into Kyo.
He said to her,
“We still have unfinished business”
Saiyuki said,
“I told you I’m sorry”
“Sorry doesn’t cut it” he said as he opened his pocket knife. Saiyuki dropped her things and ran, as she was running she saw the boy that helped her earlier from her school. She ran to him and the boy (of course) recognized her.
The boy said,
“Hey you’re the new girl at my school my name is Tenchi”
“Tenchi I need your help I’m lost, scared, and I just want to go home, can you help me?” Saiyuki said.
“Sure I can help you” Tenchi said with a smile. Saiyuki was so happy after that. Then they started walking “By the way what is your name?”
“My name is Saiyuki Ochiba, its nice to meet you Tenchi”
“You too” He said
“So Tenchi where are we going?” Saiyuki said.
“To the nearest telephone, so you can call your parents” He said
“Ok” she said until she realized, “OH! I almost forgot my mom and dad are on vacation for a two months and I don’t have my key”
“Well you can stay at my house I live by myself” He said “My parents went to the United Sates for two months.
“I CAN’T DO THAT !!!!” She said, “I mean I don’t want to be a burden to you and your home.”
“Its ok! stay as long as you like” he said “and besides you don’t have anywhere else to go”
“Well since I have nowhere else to go to I’ll stay for…… two weeks” she said
“That’s Fine” He said, and they were on their way home until they ran in Kyo again and he brought friends. All of Kyo’s friends crowded around Tenchi, ready to fight.
“Do you really think I’m going to fight them?!’ Tenchi said
“I know you are because I have your little friend here” Kyo said
“Tenchi HELP!!!” Saiyuki said in a big scream.
“You leave me no choice” Then he started to fight the guys one by one. Then when it was Kyo’s turn He let go of Saiyuki and moved her back near a bush then one of Kyo’s Friends jumped out and grabbed her.

“AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” She screamed in a big voice. Then suddenly a big flash of light came out of her. The light was so bright that no one could see!!! When she woke up , she was at Tenchi’s house on the couch with a towel on her head.
“Your up, how are you feeling?’ Tenchi said
“I feel fine” Saiyuki said.
In Tenchi’s mind he was thinking and that Saiyuki has to be the one He’s looking for.
“Um” said Saiyuki “Tenchi can you tell me where the bathroom is so I can take a shower?”
“Its right down the hall” Tenchi said
“Ok” she said
“Does she remember what happened?” Tenchi was saying in his mind
While Saiyuki was taking a shower she thought “Why did I faint? What happened? I feel weird.” when she got out of the shower she put on a guest robe. Then she went to Tenchi and asked. “Tenchi what happened? Why did I faint”
Tenchi said,
“You must’ve fainted from not eating much today”
“That maybe it” she said “Can you show me the room I’ll be sleeping in?”
“Sure its this room its across from mine” he said
“Thank you good night” she said then she came back and bowed, “Thank you for your kindness and letting me stay here” Then after Saiyuki did that she went to sleep.
