i think it should go by experience.
how much you've learned from life,
but not necessarily how much you know
in an academic sense of the word.

elders still presumably would have more worldly knowledge,
and maybe understand it better than someone who's simply travelled or seen a lot.

a 30 something year old who's never left home or sought to experience more in life isn't going to know much about the world, despite how smart they are.
like everyone in my perfect little bubble of a town.

it'd be nice if discrimination would stop altogether though, you're right.
it's so stupid, and i see it a lot around here.
but t's like a challenge. you want to prove people wrong when they
have made judgements about you.
