i no it took a while but im finally posting page 18. i was waiting for kirsten to catch up but i guess she doesnt wanna read it anymore.... sweatdrop

“Harrold, you have no idea how freaked out I’ve been! I don’t want to sound like some corny freak or something but I thought I was going to lose my best friend!”
Derrick was breathing hard. Harrold didn’t know what to say.
“Derrick, listen.” Carina’s voice was gentle and soothing.
“No! I’m not going to let you kill him!” Derrick yelled at Carina.
The nurse from around the corner had heard their commotion. “Is everything ok over there?” She asked from her desk. Derrick and Carina peeked around the corner. Harrold had tried but Carina pushed him back. He couldn’t seem to remember that his face looked like a wreck.
“Come on, we have to hide you!” Carina said to Harrold hastily.
“Hide me? Why?!” Harrold asked as Carina started to drag him away from the corner.
“That nurse is coming over and she can’t see you, now come on!” Carina replied.
She rushed them over to the map of the hospital. She pushed Harrold behind it and whispered to Derrick, “Just play along ok?” Before Derrick could respond, she pressed her lips against his and put her arms around him.
“Hello? What’s all the commotion?” The nurse had come around the corner.
“Um, do you mind?!” Carina said in a snobby voice as she broke away from the fake kiss and gave the nurse a glare. The nurse looked shocked.
“Oh! Excuse me.” She said. Her face turned slightly red and she retreated back around the corner. Derrick stared at Carina with a shocked expression.
“Get over it.” She said to him as she dragged Harrold out from behind the map.
“Derrick, where’s the nearest exit? Do you know?” Harrold asked.
“Why would I want to be an accomplice with something I’m totally against?” Derrick asked folding his arms across his chest stubbornly.
Suddenly, Carina had Derrick in a head lock. “Come on Derrick! Help us!”
“Yeah, what’s in it for me?” Derrick asked, struggling against her grip.
“I’ll let you come with us if you just help us out!”
“You’ll let me come--?”
“Derrick, just trust me ok!”
Harrold was looking around; making sure nobody was coming, and trying to tell them to quiet down without being too loud himself.
“Ok,” Derrick gave in. “I’ll show you the way if you just let go!”
Carina released him and they followed Derrick down the hall. Luckily Derrick had decided to act now and ask questions later. They were going along great until they spotted two doctors walking down the hall, chatting happily with cups of coffee in their hands. Derrick and Carina quickly shoved Harrold through the nearest door until the doctor had passed them. That door happened to be a girl’s bathroom.
“You’re lucky there wasn’t anyone in there.” Harrold hissed as they took off down another hall. Harrold had stored the Get Well card into his pocket but he still had to hold on to the balloon. When they finally found an exit, Harrold saw a couple with a small baby getting ready to leave.
“Congratulations!” Harrold said with a smile. He stuffed the balloon into the man’s hands and ran towards the door behind Carina and Derrick.
“Hold it right there!” A deep voice shouted behind them. The three of them stopped in their tracks and whipped around to find the source of the sudden noise.
yay! a new characters gonna be introduced next page! hes not a good guy tho, hes evil but i still luv him! hes a lot of fun.
