The first day
I could see everyone glaring at me. Walking down the hallway someone pushes me to the ground. I hear smirks and giggles. I sit there until the bell rings, everyone quickly fast-walks to class. Once everyone is gone I run out of the big school doors into the football field. The warriors (us) have only won once this year.
I’m finally in the 9th grade and today is my first day in high school. I don’t know how to dress, talk, I don’t even know where my classes are. It doesn’t help when my best friends last year become my worst enemies. Everything is falling out of hand.
I wake up to mud on my jeans. It must be lunch time. People are around me laughing and throwing more mud on me.
Me: Will you stop it?!!
Person: C’mon Candy you know you like this attention.
Me: Just leave me alone!
I stand up and run inside the school. Before I reach the nurse’s room a teacher stops me.
Mr. Smith: What are you doing in the hallway without a pass?
Me: I’m heading to the nurse’s.
Mr. Smith: What’s with all this mud? Did you get in a fight? Go to the principal’s office right now.
This is not fair. I walk down the hallway until I see a room that is bigger than any of the rooms. I head in. There’s a big desk and 2 chairs in front of it. There is a no one at the desk. I see a sign on the desk: Sick, visit assistant principal.
