Alright.
It finally came. The opening show of Dearly Beloved!
I'll just tell you my little story of what happened.

First of all, we had to be at the school at 6:00p.m sharp.
So while I was getting in costume, and getting my make-up on..
I had to work on this waltzing scene with my husband and I, 'cuase we basically looked like retarded monkeys when we danced...
Anyways.. its supposed to end with a dip.. but I was afraid to because I didn't wanna fall.
Then everyone tried to make me feel better by showing me how to do it, and saying it was alright.. it wouldn't happen! He can support your weight, bla bla blaa...
So I believed them and went back to make-up..
Since I was supposed to be forty years old, Kelsey Corona.. [drama club prez. she's awesome!!] did my face wrinkles to make me look older.. same with other peeps! It was funny 'cuase my friends took pictures of me when I was making weird squinting faces..
Anywho.. we had the circle of trust thingy.. did a bunch of fun tongue twisters.. and went on to start the show.
At first.. we were all confused 'cuase we didn't see people out in the audience.. turns out.. not a lot of people heard about the play.. at least not the Saturday one..
I'm hoping most of my friends come to the Saturday one!!

We went on anyways.. I was nervous right when I had to go on for the first time...
But I think I managed to get through my first scene without screwing up too much...
Everyone was nervous... so there were a couple stutters here and there.. and some forgotten lines.. but the audience couldn't tell that!

Anywho.. time came for the last scene... where [ I don't wanna give away too much. ] I had to waltz with my husband. It started out.. okay and all.. until we got to the dip..
'sigh' Oh the dredded dip.. how I hate thee so....
See... my costume calls for very high heels.. wich I can barely walk in.. that can easily slip... and wouldn't you know it, they did!
I some how got dipped too far back.. and I went tumbling down to the ground.. I fell.
I had to think quick.
IMPROVISE!!!!!
I got up and acted like it was supposed to happen.. it's part of the play.. 'shhhhhhh'
'wink' 'wink' 'wink' 'wink'
My line calls for.. "I'm feeling awful foolish right now." And that matched my falling thingy perfectly..
Oh the laughs I got.
Ceptz.. I hate myself for this.. because I couldn't stay in character!!
My friend Jessica who plays my older sister started to silently crack up.. her face was clearly holding back from a complete outburst.. and as soon as I saw her face.. I started to crack up.. I knew I shouldn't have.. so I had to think, "Dead kittens, Dead kittens DEAD KITTENS!!!" but for some reason.. I still sorta was trying to hold back from laughing. After a couple more seconds.. it was gone.. and the scene continued.
We did our lovely bows.. and it was over!
We went out into the lobby and said hi to everyone.. got compliments, etc.
But the freshman had to wear sparkley hats and collect tips for donations. Sadly.. I was a freshman.. but I got $7 bucks! [friends and mom.. heh] I asked my friend about the falling down thingy.. and said it wasn't part of the show.. and she was surprised by that! She actually thought i was supposed to fall! Alot of other people said that too! "It wasn't part of the show?" they said, which just made me feel a whole lot better 'cuase they thought I was supposed to fall!! I'm not a horrible actress after all! Well.. yeah.. I guess I am, but still! My mom surprisingly had this beautiful big bouquet of rainbow roses [red, pink, orange, yellow] with balloons and bells tied to them.. I felt so special.. <3
I went to all of the people who told me I wasn't gonna fall.. went right up to their faces and said..
"You lied to me!"
They said their many apologise.. and eventually I forgave them and had to get out of costume..
There was gonna be a cast party at Max & Erma's, and I wanted to go too! I took the longest to get dressed and ready.. so I left last with my mom.
Heh.. see.. that was a bad thing.. 'cuase I didn't know which Max & Erma's it was...
My mom and I went to the one that was on Frantz road.. FAR AWAY from the school.. only to find out.. that it was the Max and Erma's the was like 5 min. away from the school!!!
DD:
I didn't know that, okay?
Gah.. anyways.. I finally arrived and everyone's happy I finally came. We sat.. chatted for a while. And my other friend.. [who said wasn't able to come] came! I was so happy! We played this funny trick on Collen Brand.. [Justin Waverly].. see he was so wrappen up in telling gossip stories to us that he didn't notice two tech girls pouring lemon and salt into his diet coke.. so everytime he took a sip.. we started cracking up.. because for some reason.. he didn't notice the taste.. but he thought we were laughing at his stories.. so he laughed too, which just made it even funnier for us.. 'cuase he had no idea what was going on!
He did this about 3 more times.. until... the techy girls were caught playing the stirring game.. [they frantically stirred the straws in the cups after adding more salt to make a cover-up for Collen not to notice..].
Finally.. one of the girls played the stirring game one more time.. after putting in a huge amount on salt without stirring it in completely.. So we all watched intently as Collen was talking and drank his foul soda.
His face immediately turned into a hilarious.. 'UH OH, WTF' face.. it was so hilarious!!!
He accidentally swallowed the gross soda anyways.. and we had to explain to him that we've been doing it for a while.. gawd the was funny..
It took so long to get our food.. but it was good int the end.. this one girl left early.. and there was a mix up in her order.. so some how we ended up with a free meal.
I ended up finding out that Kelsey lives right by me too, so that was awesome.. and whats weird is that.. a bunch of people that are in the play.. [that are my friends] live by me!!
We had more fun stories and shinnanigans throughout the night!
Gawd, it was the most fun I've ever had in.. who know how long!
I'm gonna be so sad when it's all over.
'sigh' Oh well.. live in the moment I guess!
I think we're going to Stake N' Shake tomorrow night!

So we finally left.. after a fun day of randomness..
We had to go pick up my brother at his girlfriend's house..
And while I was at the door.. Kelsey drove in and went to her house.. [which is two houses down from my brother's gf's.] And she was all like 'Hey Luana!!' And I was all like, 'Haaaaaiiiii!'
Then I said bye and left.. [after finding out my brother was already dropped off out our place.]
I came home.. tried to find some where to put my roses.

Yeah............... a truely funny night indeed.
I can only wonder what fate holds instore for tomorrow's rehearsal.
