This s**t is not cool.
I was a fool to believe. A fool! I am a fool! That word, fool, it echoed inside of my head. She would never love such a fool! Never!
My finger nails digging their way into my scalp, the warm blood running down my forehead as I breathed heavily. Never have I felt like this. Never have I wanted to feel like this. Never so badly did I want to end my life, I knew I'd never have the guts to do it. Maybe I was wrong?
The smell of fish and smog. I knew exactly where I was, a place I shouldn't be.
I was on edge. No, I was on the edge.
How did I get here? Where is here? The bridge. How far up was I? On top. Finally I was able to hear people and cars that were going by. Did they see me? Their shouts and screams answered my question.
Was this choice I am about to make the right one? It sure feels right. I don't belong in this world. I don't! I found that out when I realized she couldn't love a fool.
I'm such a fool!
A voice so familiar. I'm too high up to really tell who it is. It couldn't be her, could it?
I turned to look, not knowing that I would lose my footing. I was falling, down to the water, the filthy river from which I would never return.
I saw her as I fell. It was her! It was! "No!" She called out, reaching towards me. But nothing could stop me from falling to my death.
How did I end up in this crazy mess? Everything was going so slow... As I fell all I could think about was what happened...

Another day at school, great... At least I get to see Sam again!
"Hey, hey pretty." I laughed as I went to Sams side.
"Oh, hi Rob!" She put her arm on my shoulder as she always did.
We were nobodies as always, but we were nobodies together and it would stay that way.
I stopped and took a quick glance at her, then another. She didn't look the same. Make up, new clothes. She looked like one of those rich girls that hate me, but I knew she'd never hate me, right? She didn't seem the same, but the attraction I had for her seemed to rise.
"What is it?" She pushed some of her silky smooth brown hair behind her ear, I could see the rest of her face. Beautiful... "Robert?"
I jumped. "Yeah, sorry, nothing." My face felt hot. I was blushing wasn't I? Damn!
She laughed her silly little quiet laugh. How I loved her laugh, I loved everything about her.
The first bell rang. "Oh, Robert, I'll see you at lunch alright?" She waved as she went on her way to class. I hated being apart from her. I wish I could tell her how I felt...
Lunch came quicker than I thought.
I sat down at our normal table, in a corner where nobody goes. I sat there for fifteen minutes, alone, waiting for Sam. I began to wonder if she had gone home sick or something had happened.
Something did happen. I heard her laugh, but it was louder than usual. Far louder than usual! She was on the other side of the room, the popular side. I was in a small state of shock.
I actually got the guts to go up to her in a minute. When I got there, the other girls looked at me like I was trash, Sam didn't notice me until I spoke. "Sam?"
"Oh, Ro-... What?" She sounded kind of snooty.
"I need to speak with you..." I couldn't stand to look at her at this moment. "Please."
"Well, speak to her!" One of the girls snickered.
"You can say what you want to me, but you have to say it in front of them too." Sam just stared at me, she looked mean.
"You don't have to..." I stopped then continued. "What the hell happened to you? Overnight you changed yourself completely!" I was yelling now. I missed the old Sam, the one I knew and loved.
"Whatever." Sam muttered.
"Son of a... Sam, don't you get it? I love the old you. This new you, I'm sorry, but you've turned into a real b***h." I had no idea what I said, but I knew it was bad.
Sam had an odd look in her eyes, one I haven't seen. Not ever. She stood up and smacked me, right across the face. "Well, I hate you. I've always hated you."
The other girls laughed and laughed. They seemed to enjoy this a hell of a lot more than I did.
I looked Sam in the eyes. "If that's how you really feel, I respect that... But I don't respect you anymore..." And I walked away, trying my hardest not to look back. I ran out the emergency exit, setting off an alarm.

"I love you!" Sams voice. She was screaming it on the top of her lungs. She lied to me, she did love me! No... This is horrible.
Today had flashed before my eyes, I knew I was going to die.
I did feel a bit better knowing that she loved me, but I regret this choice I made.
I know I will never get a secon-
