Today is November 27th of the 2007th year. My older sister Samantha fell upon a knife today. I was sleeping this evening at about 10 pm when my mom starts hollering "CC I NEED A DARK BLANKET!! CC DARK BLANKET NOW!!! GET UP!" When I yelled back asking why, since honestly i was exhausted, she said one of the most frightening things I've ever heard. "Samantha is hurt" now when a level headed parent says something like this, shrieking loud enough for our neighbors to hear if they where listening, totally freaked me out. I jumped out of bed stumbled across the room and heard the most terrifying thing once I asked what happened. "Your sister fell on a knife, call the ambulance"

that scared 10 years off my life. Considering how younge I really am that's slightly concerning no? anyways it turns out it was only half as bad as I thought. I thank god for my sister's clutzyness which saved her life. The knife had punctured the around the length of my middle finger, and about an inch (give or take) deep all the way across. Had it been about half an inch to the left the butcher knife would have stabbed her in the main vein in her right leg. EEK she would have bled to death before the medics arrived. THank god. My sister has always been my rock in life, when I lose it she pulls me back to sanity. WHen I get upset she's like a medication to calm me down. If something happened to Samantha I don't know what I would do. THere was so much blood. Her sock (without anything else to stanch the blood to begin with) was soaked within seconds, the towels, gause, etc SOAKED floor coated in blood. But hey I have to admit that although she doesn't get injured as much as myself but when she does get hurt it's GOOD. Broken nose, stab wound, head injuries (three times in the same place on her forehead, talent eh? only one scar) so today I thank god for my sister's safe return to us. We where at the ER for a couple hours. She got 10 stitches and a bunch of drugs.
