Lugh opened his eyes slowly and was blinded by the light coming from the lamp.
He sat up and moved his body towards the edge of the bed.

"Huh?" Lugh muttered looking at where he was. He saw a dimly lighted room, the light source just coming from the lamp on the headboard of the bed. The furniture seemed too exquisite for him unlike the way the furniture was back in Empyrean. He heard footsteps coming from outside the room and heard a sudden knock on the door.

"Are you awake? Can I come in?" the voice said.

"Yeah." Lugh whispered under his breath.

The door opened and in came a young beautiful woman about 5' 7" tall. She has dark flowing hair, wearing a dark robe and holding a tray with hot chocolate and some biscuits.

She put the tray down the bedside table and handed Lugh the cup of hot chocolate.

"Are you feeling better now, dear?"

"Yes. I'm feeling better now, thank you. Where am I?" Lugh slowly replied in between sips of the hot chocolate.

"Well dear, I found you lying on the Path of Execution, near the Mountains of Nertwal."

She sat down on the chair beside the table.

"Path of Execution? Mountains in Nertwal? Where in the world is that place?"

Lugh took his last sip of the hot chocolate and handed it over to the woman.
She put the cup on the tray and reached out for the plate of biscuits and handed it over to Lugh.

"The first time I looked at you I always knew you were from Empyrean. Lugh, this is the world of darkness, Haephnes."

Lugh stood up suddenly, the plate of biscuits from his lap crashed on the floor.

"Sorry." He said while looking down at the broken tableware.

"It's all right, dear." the woman went to the broken plate and biscuits on the floor and waved her hand towards it. The broken plate of biscuits disappeared. Lugh was shocked and looked around the room to see that the plate was there on the tray, full of biscuits. It's like it was never even touched before.

"How did--??"

The woman walked on to the door and said.

"My name is Carmina Gadelica. You can call me 'Carm' for short."

She opened the door and looked back at Lugh,

"You should rest for now. I'll tell you everything you have to know tomorrow. Good night, my dear. You have to regain your strength for that fate that awaits you."

And with that she was gone and Lugh drifted again to a deep sleep.
