Vampire are...well vampires. There's probaly millions of things you can do with them. But why do people think they're overdone? YES, there are countless fiction with vamps BUT portrayed the same way again and again. How many times have you read a book about: a human falling in love with a vampire who is DIFFERENT because he's not cold-blooded and really sweet; a vampire is either EWWWWW SOOOOOOO POPULAR!! Or a cry-me-a-river emo;a vampire who, being a GOOD vampire, rescues a human or wish to be mortal or who hates him/herself for being a "monster".
So, how can vampires be OVERdone when they're BARELY done...differently? No wonder the WF's tired of vampires!!!!!!! They see the same crap again and again. And THAT's why I LOVE writing vampires...because I at least try to write them differently!There are a million ways to write something so why would you follow the same boring thing? ALL of the vamp books I've read are pretty much the same PLOT, the same CHARACTERIZATIONS, again and AGAIN!
So, WF you're tired of vamps...but why are you? Because there are so many books out there with the same crap or because there is such a variety?
I ask you,WF, as a vampire-lover, do you truly hate vampire novels?
