Readings of Life
Claire Burmot
Name: Claire Burmot

Age: 18

Race: Human

Description:

History: Claire's parents sent her off to train with her Grandfather when she was 8. From him she learned all her air techniques and from that how to manipulate all other elements. He also gave her her staff, which helps her concentrate and strengthen her moves and spells. On her 17th birthday, he dismissed her from his charge because her training was over. She returned home and found things unsettling. Seeking adventure she traveled in search of more knowledge and strength; maybe to return to her home at the end of her travels to retire.

Personality: Claire is an outgoing person. She only hates a person for few reasons: 1. They hurt her, her family, or her friends. 2. They lie or backstab. and/or 3. They do something completely and utterly immoral.
Claire tries her best not to pass judgement without thinking it through, but no one is perfect. She tries to help as much as she can and do it all with the best that she's got. Not trying to make her sound like Wonder Woman (she is not), but she tries her best and never gives up.

Weapons: L'eppe d'air- Claire's Quarter staff. It is about as long as she is tall. (5'4" wink Each end is capped with a dark meteor metal that reflects certian light sources. Along the dark oak shaft are carved ancient runes that glow green when in effect. These runes help in the control of elements. Each of the metal ends are removable. Under each one is a small blade shaped like three oak leaves put together, of the same metal.

Claire also uses a slim short-sword. About 2.5 ft long. The blade had leaves carved onto it. The handle, 6 inches long, is wrapped in birch bark. On the end of the hilt is a round garnet, embedded into the handle.
This sword IS her staff. Since it is a item of power, it changes back and forth between the two at its own will. Claire has no idea when or even if it changes at times.

Spells and Moves:
Attaque d'air
aerer le chemin: A path of air, raising 10 feet in the air. It carries dust, dirt, and rocks with it. A spell made to blind and confuse the opponent.
Baiser hors d'haleine: The Breathless Kiss, a spell that when done right, crushes the opponents lungs by taking all the air out of them, causing them to suffocate to death because they are unable to open their lungs.
Tornade: A spell that requires a lot of mana. Basically it calls forth a series of tornadoes to rip apart the area. Unfortunatly, barely controllable. Claire will hardly ever use this spell.
la rafale de vent: A simple spell that creates a large gust of wind that could propel the opponent backwards if it overcomes their balance.
Vide: A spell that sucks the air out of a certian area.
Remonter le Fusil: A spell that uses her mana to create a gun of her left hand that shoots energy round that create a concussive air wave towards whatever she targets.
Un souffle d'air: opposite of Baiser hors d'haleine. Instead of removing life by suffocation, it gives back the life of a deceased person (no more than 3 days gone) with a severe loss of mana to the castor.

Attaque d'eau
Fouet d'eau: literally a water whip. Can also be used to weaken oncoming attacks.
Eau mur: Wall of water. 8ft high and 1 ft thick.
Eau bec: the castor calls the water directly out of the ground beneath to come shooting up and catch the opponent offguard.
Raz-de-maree only usuable when near a large, visiable water source. Creates a tidal wave that travels towards the opponent. Strength depends on castor mana and amount of water.

Attaque de feu
Incendie: Creates a ball of fire that travels at the opponent and explodes on contact, releasing flames everywhere.
La Sante: returns the health of the castor/target. Amount of health returned depends on mana supply.
Geler: Removes heat from surrounding air. If held long enough or concentrated hard enough on, it will eventually freeze the target solid.
Feu mur: A wall of fire. 8ft tall and 1ft thick.
Bouffee The air around the opponent to the point where it becomes almost unbearable, slowing them down and dehydrating them. Lasts as long as castor concentrates.

Attaque de terre
Terre mur: A wall of earth. 8ft tall and 1 ft thick.
Tremblement de terre: An earthquake whose strength depends on the amount of mana avalible in castor. Most often a last resort.
Roche jeter: The castor raises a boulder of their choosing and throws it at the opponent.

Interesting character you've got there. I can tell you've spent a lot of time on developing her. nice job.
