I found out the other day that I may have torn something in my dominate wrist from an injury a long LONG LONG time ago. I'm having an MRI on Monday, Jan 21, 2008, and if I in fact did tear that, I will end up having to have surgery to repair it. However, both my parents and I agreed that we wouldn't have the surgery done until May, due to the fact that I am still currently in school. I'm slightly nervous, mainly because I read up on how the proceedure would be handled. If you know me very well, you'll know that I have a horrible phobia of needles... I read that they would be using 3 18 gauge needles, and now I'm really freaked out. Plus the fact of the anethesia... regional, or general? I'd rather be out cold than be loopy and able to see what they're doing to me! I'm not ranting or anything, but I am pretty freaked out. HELP!
