Lets see, where to start? Well my name is Otto ho Hideki, I was an orphan growing up and then the great war broke out between the empire and the western kingdom known as Banan. I stayed in a village south east of Banan. Then one day the empire got bold and decided to march to the capital of Banan. The vermin scum’s decided to do a little practice on there way to the capital. They ruthlessly murdered everybody in the village except for me. I hid in the closet like a coward as I watched them murder the one and only man that would take me in. I would never forgive the empire for what they’ve done. When they ran there cold tempered steel through my pa a blood puddle oozed under the closet door and I was looking at him through the crack in the door and he said be strong my son be a mighty warrior like your father…. And then he was silent I wanted to scream I wanted to cry I wanted to do something other than just sit there but I couldn’t move from the fear. I just I just felt so useless so lifeless I couldn’t do nothing but curl up and stare at the blood.
Ten years later I celebrated my sixteenth birthday as the lead general in the Azorean army. Azorea is a highly advanced city who’s economy comes solely the making of airships which are used for transporting goods to other continents. Since the war there has been an increase in sea beast, and to make matters worse more and more pirates just keep coming. Now the skies are not any safer than the seas.
Azorea decided to make there move on the empire but we underestimated there forces and we lost the first skirmish twenty eight percent of our troops were lost and there were nothing left but peasants and farmers left in Azorea. So we had no choice, we made a pact with an ancient entity to take us to the holy land in search for a way to decimate the empires forces. We found our answer alright a force that would wipe out an entire army in the blink of an eye, but humans weren’t suppose to see that type of power and to make matters worse we opened a gate between our worlds and rancid beast and foul fiends found there way onto Terra. My whole platoon was obliterated and I was the sole survivor once again. This time was different though I wasn’t the same afterwards. I lost my right arm all the way up to my shoulder. I passed out on the way back to Azorea when a traveling monk helped me back to the city.
I finally woke up and I was in the hospital. One of the lead engineers was a near and dear friend of mine and he fixed a mechanical arm that attaches to my nerves and I have the same motor functions as I did with my natural arm. I asked the doctor how long I was asleep and he laughed and replied back to me asleep more like a coma you’ve been out of it for two years now.
The war has it ended has it finally ended!? The doctor replied back to me “ I’m afraid not my boy the world below has been in a frenzy since your mission.” Wait! What? The world below? What do you mean doctor? What I mean is that after the fiends attacked the royal capital of Azorea all of the airship builders came up with a plan and went into the aqua ducts of Azorea and well to make a long story short the kingdom of Azorea is a giant airship. So you mean to tell me the continent is floating? Yeah about two miles up. Wow! That is amazing.
After hearing all that has happened to terra I figured id drop out of the military and become a bounty hunter. That way I can explore the new world. Besides no good has come from the war. I lost my father and a whole platoon I wasn’t fit to lead a squad let alone a whole platoon. Besides the only person I have to worry about is myself Chapter one
The one million Zen bounty
Oh man I’ve really done it this time. What the hell was I thinking coming to the Zohara deserts. I am sick and tired of all these damn sand storms there getting on my nerves big time. If I don’t find a village soon I’m going to die. Man why did I let that old coot talk me into hunting that sand shark. I haven’t even seen the thing for the past three days makes me wonder if the thing really exists. What the? What’s that shaking? Ha finally decided to show yourself, huh? Well eat this!
The sand shark exploded out from under the sand as Otto ho did a back flip guns drawn just blasting away at the beast. His attempt was to no avail. Non of the bullets were penetrating the scales of the shark. Well looks like your just going to have to eat me you ugly b*****d. The sand shark jumped and then arched in the air and came straight down on Otto ho. The ancient creatures mouth sprang shut sealing off the only exit. Otto ho pulled out his matching set of forty-four magnums and began blasting away at the organs. I have to time this right I cant kill him under all of this sand ill have to kill him on the surface. The shark leapt out of the sea of sand then at that moment Otto ho drew his magnum and shot the sharks brain. One shot was all it took, damn I’m good. Oh man that one million Zen is mine. First thing’s first, how in the hell am I going to transport this big b*****d? I know why don’t I just cut his jaws out and turn them in that will be a hell of a lot lighter than carrying the whole thing into town.
I got to the desert town known as Hmar, with giant gaping jaws of the sand shark on my shoulder. The locals that I spoke with earlier stared at me with disbelief. I heard cheers coming from the crowd of the people saying hail the scion of the foreign land for he is our liberator. We have not to live in fear from now on. Our village is safe, we can grow our crops now. Ha that’s a riot me a scion, he he he oh man. I went by the local bounty office to collect my reward. I was heading out of town and I figured id stop at the oasis and get myself a drink or two. It was about two hours later and I heard a bell ring everyone in the bar jumped and ran out the bar. I ran out into the streets and asked where everyone was going and a little kid stopped and said Mr. when that bell rings it means that the empire is on there way here. The empire! What are the doing out here? Mr. you best hurry because they might try to brainwash you and force you to join there ranks. Like hell they will! Them bastards do not have any respect for the human life. Hey kid you better go hide, after they get here you probably don’t want to see the fight it will be a bloody mess so go home to your parents and ill take care of this situation.
Damn I got myself in a fine mess I was only expecting a squad not the whole eastern front. Well there’s not that many of them. Oh well ill take my chances and see how far I get.
