(Part 4)

"Kamrin! Im going to get some more wood!" Mirror yelled across the camp. "Ya ok Mirror!" Kamrin yelled back at him. Mirror walked across the camp over to Kiara. "You want to come? I could use an extra hand." Mirror offered with a smile. Kiara nodded and smiled. "Sure." Mirror nodded. "Good." He said as he turned and walked slowly toworrds the forest. Kiara turned to Jake. "Be careful Jeramy" Jake said worried and in a low voice. "Dont worry Jake, I will be." She said with a smile and turned to walk in the same direction that she saw Mirror leave.

When she finally cought up to him he had already started hacking up a small tree. "You can cut down that one," He said turning and pointing to another small tree. "Then we should have enough wood for at least a week." Kiara smiled and nodded. She walked over to the tree and picked up and hatchet that was laying there. After a few moments of scilence and the sound of chopping, Mirror's tree finally cracked and fell. Mirror smiled and walked around it, over to Kiara. He leaned himself agenst a tree and laughed to himself. "Whats so funny?" Kiara asked as she stopped and turned to face Mirror. "Nothing. Its just, those clothes and that hair," He said walking back over to his tree. "What about them?" She asked looking down at her clothes. "They dont suit you at all." Mirror said with a smile. Kiara stood there motionless. Unable to do or say anything."W-what do you meen?" Kiara asked studdering. Mirror laughed. "I meen for a female, those clothes don't flatter you at all." Mirror said with a smiled. Kiara turned around. "What makes you think im a girl?!" She asked trying not to make it sound like she was worried. Mirror laughed and walked back over to his tree to start cutting it smaller. "I am the kind of person that looks part apperences and sees what kind of person they really are, and for you i see female traits." He said as he was about hale way though his tree. Kiara looked at the gound and ran her foot slowly through the dirt. "No-one is suppost to know.."But i dont know what the use is anymore." She turned and sliced the tree with one strike. She had just started to cut it up when Mirror finished. He piled up his wood and sat down.

Kiara had finished cutting the wood. And without turning to face Mirror she said. "We has better get this wood back to the camp." Mirror nodded. "We can get more help once we get there." He replyed. So both Mirror and Kiara took a large handful of wood and walked back to camp with it.

When they got back to the camp they begin to pile it up next to the fire pit. Kiara looked over at Jake and asked. "Can you come and help?" She asked with a strange look on her face. Jake tilted his head a bit and nodded. Jake got up and slowly walked with Kiara back to the wood. She leaned over and whispered to him the whole time. "Do I really need to keep a secret? The king will be looking for a male, so if I am a female he wont find me so easly. She whispered as she picked up a handful of wood. Jake nodded a little in thought and replyed. "Well thats true. But why the sudden change?" As he also picked up wood. Kiara tilted her head down a little. "Well I guess it's because, when Mirror and I went to get the wood ready, he.." She trailed off for a moment. "He, saw right through me, like the king. But all he did was laugh about it." Jake thought about it for a moment as they made there way slowly back to the camp. "Well, I think we can trust them. They seem pretty good to me." Jake said with a smile. Kiara nodded and gave a small smile of her own, as they walked into the camp.

The three of them had to make about three more trips back and forth to get all the wood. Kiara didnt leave Jake's side for a moment. She knew she had to tell the rest of them, but she didnt know how, or when. She hoped Jake would help her, but he just said it's something she had to do. She thought that she might leave it for a few days and see if Morror would say anything. She was hopping her wouldnt. As she thought about what to do, she begin to help out around the camp. She helped Chaos and Aura with the catching of the food, wether it be hunting deer or catching fish. She helped Mirror and Kamrin cook it. And even help Neil maintain the camp. It was a good way to think for Kiara.

"Where is she?!" Keath bellowed down the main hall as the doors opened for him. It had only been a week and he was getting madder by the day. "I want double the demons out looking for her! And I want them now!" He yelled as he turned to the guards. They bowed there heads and ran out of the room. Keath turned and slowly slumped down into his chair, just as Raven came slowly out from behind it. "Ah! Raven! Don't scare me like that!" Keath yelled out then calmed. "I am deeply sorry my Lord." Raven said as he bowed his head. "Every thing will be alright. The girl will be here soon." Raven said as he slowly lifted his gaze from the floor. Keath looked over at him then down at the floor. "I hope you are right Raven. I really do." He said in a soft tone. Raven nodded to himself as he slowly retreated out the back door. Keath was now alone in a big emty hall. He sat there silently in his chair, thinking to himself. Wishing it would not have to take any longer. "She will be my queen." He said over and over to himself quietly enough that not even a mouse could hear him.

It had been a few days since Mirror told Kiara not to hide herself. Jake had noticed the sence of more demons being around. The king most be getting very agravated that he doesnt have his "queen" yet. But Jake held a secret. Before Him and Kiara left on there trip, Grandfather Josph told him about one way that Keath would eave. It wasnt a sure way, but it was enough. He had to tell Kiara, and he was going to do it. Tonight.

Kiara and Jake where happy to be around other people. It ment they didnt have to be alone or hide as much. There would still be the odd demon that came near but that was usually taken care of by Chaos, Mirror, Aura, or Niel. Once in a while they liked to drag it back to camp to show off. Choas mostly, for Kamrin. When ever she saw him with one she jumped around and kissed him. He didnt mind at all. But everyone around the camp just laughed when he blushed. He didnt care, he loved Kamrin and didnt mind showing everyone.

It was starting to get dark out and there was a nice big fire lit in the pit. Almost everyone was around it enjoying the light. Kiara and Jake where sitting beside eachother on one side, Kamrin was sitting between Niel and Chaos, Aura was up in a tree smoking so no-one could get on his case. Mirror was sitting agenst a tree loking down apon his necklace that he held in his hands. Chaos looked up and around at everyone. It was so quiet. "So... What is everyones story? For being here i meen." Everyone peered over at Chaos. He just gave a small smile. "I dont really have one." Chaos said. "I was abanded at 10 and lived on my own. That is until I found all of you." He said smiling and giving Kamirn a small nudge. She blushed and giggled. Everyone smiled but still stared at the fire. "I am in search for the one they call King Keath." Aura started to tell. At the mention of his name both Kiara and Jake looked up and over to the tree he was in. "He killed my family and now i want my payback." Kiara's head stared to race. She tryed to calm herself down bt making small shapes in the fire but it didnt work all to well. "I know where you can find him..." Kiara said slowly. Everyone turned there gaze over to Kiara as she lowered her head. "Where!? Where can i find him?!" Arua kind of shouted out as he jumped out of the tree and jogged over to the others. "If you wait long enough, he might come to us." Kiara started to exlpain. She still had her gaze but she knew everyones was on her. She could see Mirror get up and slowly walked over to sit beside Neil. "Why would he come here?" Mirror asked as he sat down. Kiara looked up at Jake. He nodded and she then turned to face everyone else. "I am not who you think I am. King Keath is the ruler of this land and is looking for me." Everyone tilted there heads to the side and mumbled to eachother a little bit. "Why would he be looking for a young boy? If anything it would be a girl her would be looking for right?" Neil said looking around at everyone else as they resonded with a nod or a yeah. Kiara gave a weak smile. "Because, I am a girl." At that moment everyone looked stunded. Everyone but Mirror of corse he just had a small smile on his face. "You? A girl?" Neil gave a small laugh. "Females, where i come from, are not able to have the fire bender power," She started as she took off her cape and handed it to Jake. "So i became a boy," She let her long hair down and took off her big, loose t-shirt to reveal a smaller tighter shirt uderneath. "I am so sorry." Kiara bowed her head down and walked over to her tent. Jake stayed behind to talk to the others about it. "Wow. Never would have guessed that." Chaos said with a small laugh. Kamrin nudged him in the side with her elbow. She then got up and walked over to Kiara's tent.
