As the title of my journal entry clearly states...I'm tired of putting up with the lies that everyone tells me!
Today at the beach was the last straw! I've lost several friends already to trying to be popular and making up stupid lies to try and impress people with.
1. I had a really good friend at Summer Camp, who I work with, and she completely changed over the year. It's the sixth week of camp and I have yet to hear a hello from her! She completely deserted me to try to become popular...it ain't working. The "popular" girls have come up to me and have told me her huge lies! Lie #1: She's a Roxy model....come on! She told me this too the first time I've met her. Lie #2: She's in the next Harry Potter movie...she didn't even bother to tell me this one because she knows I'm not an idiot whee Lie #3: She met the Killers...I would love to hear when this happened! rolleyes
2. My new friend Bronte is also trying to become popular and the more it happens to my friends, the sadder it it!
