To clean up my About Me in my profile, I'm moving this section here.
Basically, this is just a quick summary of my personal religious opinions, for those that are curious. If you are not curious, then why are you reading this entry?

Basically, I have no religious affiliation. Technically I'm an atheist, but I do not equate that to being a religion. If you do equate it to a religion, then I have no religion. You can't say everyone has a religion, because I don't.
I did not choose to be an atheist to rebel, or to go against my parents or because I have no faith. This is how I was born, and how I was raised. My family were never religious people (Even though I was baptised, seriously!) and that's how I like it honestly.
Some people question how can I be a moral person the without a higher power to judge me? I personally belive that's a silly question.
Unlike many people, I choose to good rather than evil because I can. The religious people I've met usually choose to do good either out of fear of punishment (Hell) or out of want of a reward (Heaven). Makes me wonder how they'd act without "big brother" watching.
If you only do good because god said so, and not because you want to be good, you're not the kind of person I'd want to be. I want to be a person who does good just to do good.
I obviously have personal beef with religion due to the fact that I am automatically going to hell because I am gay and refuse to admit that it is wrong, a sin or against the Bible. I believe that people who quote Lectivus (I'm sorry if I spelt that wrong) to support the cause against non-heterosexual people are hypocritical. Its picking and choosing from your religion, as the rest of Lectivus is not followed.
That's my opinion on religion. Its a nice idea but doesn't work in real life.
Please remember, I can dislike a religion but not dislike a person. I get along with religious and non-religious people just fine.
