I bought a box of sugar cubes the other day and I ate them one by one and I swear to god they taste different than loose sugar. I don't know why. Oh well it reminded me of cotton candy. I know cotton candy is like pure sugar, cornsyrup and food dye but it's really good I was watching Good Eats with Alton Brown and he said it was introduced at the 1904 world's fair as Fairy Floss. That name is kinda lame but the cotton candy he made on the show looked more like floss instead of cotton but Now I know of that wonderful carnival treat's origins. Woot!
