fade to die
what's there is nigh;
spread your wings and fly

it's no fair
to not care
about what we intend to share
a single destiny?

Melted window
broken door
it fell down
but will you ignore?

Your selfish lies
too hard to find
give up your ache
for me to see

is this what you really care for
and you're not just lying
like I thought as well?
There's so much

to give up
too much to
help up
broke down and cried

today
is too early
can't this wait
until yesterday?

We're all taking
another postponed vacation
see you in a year
or maybe, next time we come around

this laugh will shed tears
but not in the right way
life is such a scene
do you have to make it work

what if it wasn't meant to be
like the way you planned
maybe it was breaking free
free of demand

so stop your crying
what does that help?
It won't bring anyone back
back to yourself

do you cry
because your shadow's gone
or just because
you fell too lonely without it

Maybe I should smile
would that help ease your pain?
Because your tears are only of my reflection
and I can't play this game
