So… I was out on a usual bike ride this morning, wiped out, and now have a lovely yellow bruise blossoming on my hip/backside. I have some minor scratches too, but I could care less about that. Thank god for helmets though; I hit my head pretty hard and ended up cracking my helmet… At least it wasn’t my head that got cracked. >.>
In the process of skidding through the gravel and getting thrown off my bike, I ended up twisting the handle bars. I was only a half mile from home at the time, but I didn’t exactly feel like walking it. Thankfully a kindly old couple (there seem to be a lot of those in my neighborhood) came to my rescue and fixed it for me.
So now, here I sit with a cold compress on my backside and still in my sweaty cycling lycra (Yay for shorts with a padded butt!). But hey, crashing was kinda’ fun. XD

School’s been out for a few weeks already, and I’ve been bored out of my mind… So, hopefully I’ll be drawing a bit more in the next few weeks. Also, a couple of school friends and I are going to be opening an art shop on GaiaOnline. That should help a bit. (My username is smc822 by the way, if anyone cares)
My cousin is going to be getting married this month, so that should break up the monotony a bit as well. XD
