hmmm last night I had a good time I hung out with my cousin and her boyfriend Paul at the bar. We pretty much just went to watch my aunt's friend Don in his band. It was pretty cool. They played some pretty good hard rock there. Only big thing I hated was that there were more people my dad's age at the bar (late 40's early 50's). There were few around my age there. But I just felt out of place. I Only pounded 3 beers that night. Had a Mudslide with uncle before we left. (and no I was not the DD that night lol) Over all it was fun. Pretty much today I woke up early for once, to help my dad. We tore open the laundry room. They dryer my stepmom (Momma Donna) owns went out. So we decided to get a new dryer and a new washer to match. But the laundry room was over crowded. The waterheater is also in the same room. So we decided to move it outside. We built a metal caseing to protect it. after we moved it we found out behind the wall where the water heater was there was mold there. So my dad tore down the whole wall. Then we got new drywall put it up and nailed it in. Then we taped, and used Joint compound to fill in the holes. then we let it dry. Then we sanded down all the spots that had the joint compound. After the wall was all even we started to paint. We painted this base coat 1st so it would protect the paint on the wall for when we paint. Then we put two coats of paint over the wall. At this poit everything looks fine good to go. But thats not enough for my dad lol. The floor is plain so he decided that we are gonna have tile. So we marked our lines with this black chalk string thing that looked like a tape measure. You have to go from cornor to cornor with it to find the center of the room b4 you can find your center of the room. The center of the room is where you place your first spot to add the tile. So we got the middle of the room now out lined. We start mixing this cement stuff that goes under the tile to make it stick. Were not done with it yet got it half way done. Looks really good to. But to let everyone know my dad did most of the work. I just helped him along the way. Well anyways I'll update with pictures on what the finished project looks like.
