Hey everyone I found this at one of the sites I visit alot(Kitsuneparadise)!It talks about illnesses in wich a person belives theyre an animal,no Im not one of those persons!






1.) No, this is not any "OMG I R TEH ANYMAUL" ranting over RPG or Fantasy-based bull. These are actual syndromes and conditions investigated and collected by me and Samui. These are bith the beliefs of others and the beliefs of me and Samui, so any "You're insane" bullshit is off limits and you will be suspended. I've got enough of an insecurity about that, Thanks.

2.) The incidences here require a delicate touch, so we will be using our kitsune names, most obviously Kuro and Samui. I di not want anyone trying to stalk and/or harass any of the people I mention, because you dun even know their real names.....just dun try. Thank you.

If you have decided to keep reading, then yes. You may very be an animal, either in mindframe, physically, or both. And we'll explain that right away, starting with the case known as Therianthropy.

Therianthropy is the term many of these "animal spirited" humans choose to go by. A majority are wolves, but there are others, such as foxes, rabbits, birds, even rats and elephants. The term Therianthropy, in general, is "the state of having a (soul, spirit, ka, essence, id, inner mind, insert appropriate term from your worldview here) which is wholly or partially that of a non-human animal, such as wolf, tiger, hawk, or just about anything else." Just about anyone can be a Therianthrope. You could be a doctor, a physicist, and athelete, a rocket scientist, a mayor, a garbage collector, a student, or just about anything else under the sun. There is no age limit, because of the way you become a Therianthrope. There is only one; being born a therianthrope. You cannot be bitten, drink the blood, or do anything or have anything else done by a therianthrope to make you a therianthrope. No one knows why it happens; some blame genetics, others god's work on a greater scale. No one really knows. They just know they are, and they accept and cope. For mor detail, read this.

Then, as I stated earlier, there is the physical, which I will refer to for the sake of generality as Unexplainable Lycanthropy, as it cannot be explained by Psychological or Medical science.

Unexplainable Lycanthropy works the same as Therianthropy, except on a grander scale. Instead of being just mentally attatched to the "animal within," they are also physically so, often awarding them extra strengths and weaknesses. They are no more or less human in mindstate, in most cases, than any other human on earth, but in their physical form and genetic code, there lies a second half. U. Lycanthropes undergo, at a stage in their lifetime, a transformation from their human state to either a "half" state with some of the traits showing to a "whole" state where they completely morph into the other side, the animal they are half of. After this, it becomes an everyday problem, able to be triggered by stress, anxiety, physical exertion, or physical pain. Various legends have sprouted from these; werewolves, The japanese shapeshifting kitsune, the chinese dragons, shapeshifting demons, and the etc. So far there are 4 I know personally, and others I have met on a broader scale.

All of these people are people, and nothing less. Each has their own personality, their own animal, their own experiences. None are 30 year old men in a basement still living with their mothers, and none are 12 year old emos who have an identity complex. Each one is unique, has their own way of expressing themselves, and their own mindset and opinions. So, if you take nothing away but this, then I have done my job; there are people who look for nothing but acceptance. And with this world, their search is in vein.
