My house is set up with a wireless network, because my father and I both use laptops, and it's way more convenient. Only lately, the network has been on the fritz. Some days, I can get on just fine, but others (read: almost every time I try to get online), it will cut in and out without warning.
Personally, I'm blaming my little brother, who seems to delight in messing with the family computer (which the wireless router is hooked up to). But whatever the cause, my Internet is wonky.
This is mostly going to affect the people I RP with. I'm really, really really, really to the nth power sorry if I'm taking forever to reply to you! And I really hope that the people I RP with check this. I would go and respond right now, while I can get online, only I really need to take some Advil and go to sleep.
By the way, if I'm online, it's usually because I can occasionally pick up the neighbors' wireless network. It depends entirely on where my computer is sitting. Seriously, if I sit at my desk I don't pick up the signal, but if I move a few feet away to sit on the bed, I can. When they actually have their wireless turned on, that is. If they don't, obviously I can't get online unless my Internet is behaving itself.
God, I can't wait to get back to school. At least there I can plug into the wall when my Internet acts up.
Speaking of school, I'll be without Internet from August 12th through the 23rd or 24th, because I'm camping out at my grandparents' house until I can move in to my dorm room. And they have the Internet from the Black Lagoon, I swear, so I only get on to check my email. Just to make sure my school hasn't blown up, or decided that I'll have to live somewhere else (because technically my GPA isn't high enough for me to stay in the dorm I'm in now, but so far they haven't seemed to notice, and I'm hoping they never do).
So, that's all the Interweb woe in the life of Lady. Innit fun?
