SPECIAL REPORT: Amber Alert

It all started a few weeks ago at a birthday party. (insert name) was celebrating her thirteenth birthday with some friends when a woman approached them, asking for (insert first name) to come with her.

“She looked so friendly.” One of (insert first name)’s friends said later that day. “We all wanted to go with her, really. But she only took (insert first name).”

Since then, several other children have disappeared, all of different ages. However, police have noticed that all of the kidnappings have something in common.

“She doesn’t seem to take anybody under age ten and over age nineteen. Boys and girls. Their first names all start with the letter A.” Sheriff Wilkins said in a recent interview.

“As of yet, we haven’t found a trace as to where they’ve gone, but it seems that the kidnapper actually uses tunnels and other underground means, such as sewers.”

None of the children or teenagers have been recovered but, despite skeptics, the police and townsfolk are hopeful.

“It isn’t in a woman’s nature to hurt children.” Dr. Burnes of Psychology says. Dr. Burnes is a criminal psychologist working on the case with the police.

Parents are strongly advised to keep their children inside by no later than 7:00-9:00 p.m. The children should stay away from sewers and open drains, and should stay together in groups with one or two parents when going anywhere away from home.
