Erdika's Story - chapter 3 is Up!
This is the story of Erdika the purple witch. I'm open to criticism, but if you don't like it, please explain why.
Chapter 1

Cassandra looked as she was asleep. Her large brown eyes were closed and the book she was reading fell to the floor. Her lips curved in a sweet smile. “Today…” she thought. “Today… and he doesn’t even expect me to be there! What a surprise awaits him!” she reopened her eyes, gazing at the picture hung on the wall. A mans face smiled back at her. It wasn’t just any man. It was her fiancé, Daniel. She lay back on her bed. She remembered. He promised her. He promised they will get married once he returns from his two month long business trip. He was supposed to return only in the next week, but his mother secretly told her he will return a week earlier. Today.

Suddenly she woke up and glanced at the clock, worried. Unintentionally she fell asleep for real, and nearly missed Daniel’s comeback. She put on her best clothes as fast as she could and ran downstairs. Her foster mother wasn’t there, of course, but Cassandra was happy at that. She often felt as her mother hates her. She never heard from her a single word of love, and since her foster father died, her long sleeves hid something else. Cuts and bruises. “Oh well,” she thought to herself. “All of that will end once I’ll get married and start my own life.” She hurried outside.

She arrived at the airport so quickly, that she even had twenty minutes of spare time. She got anxious and inpatient really quickly. In an attempt to ease herself, she looked at the other people who were waiting for their dears. Not far from her stood a girl, about her age, but not matching in beauty. She looked rather cheap, but she, too, looked as she was waiting to her loved one. Cassandra focused her eyes on that girl, unaware to the passengers who began to fill the hall. That girl suddenly smiled in a wide grin and cried: “Daniel!” Cassandra narrowed her eyebrows, when the girl ran toward her direction. She turned around to see who was that Daniel who that the girl saw, and nearly fell out of shock. With their lips locked, stood the girl and Daniel. Her Daniel. “What’s that supposed to mean?!” She called in disbelief. Daniel looked at her and smiled. He didn’t look ashamed or embarrassed at all. “Hey Cass,” he said. “Haven’t seen you quiet some time.” “You’re cheating on me!” Cassandra said in anger. “So?” Daniel answered, unconcerned. “So?! “ Cassandra shouted. “And what about our future? Your promise?” Daniel pulled his shoulders. “I haven’t promised you anything,” he said. “I was just kidding when I asked you to marry me” Cassandra glanced at him in disbelief. Just kidding? He stepped closer to her, and slapped her face. “That’s because you’re a stupid little girl.” He said. “Now off you go.” Cassandra still glanced at him in shock, and he laughed. With the other girl under his arm he walked away. Cassandra continued to stare at his direction for another moment or two, and then began to walk away. At first she walked very slowly, but slowly her speed increased. Finally she was running in the dark, empty streets, tears running down her cheeks.
She thought she heard an echo of steps and stopped, looking around. She saw no one, but fear began to crawl in her heart. She had a strong feeling she’s not alone. She heard the steps again, but before she could turn around, she felt a terrible pain. The world went black.
