Currently, I'm studying graphic design, trying to get my associate's degree. However, as of this year, I've found out that I don't like graphic design. It sucks. It's way too technical, there is little originality in just placing someone else's text on an image or illustration and calling it art. I hate it, it makes me feel so "bridled." I plan on going to a different school fall 09, however which school that is going to be is still undecided. However, this time I plan to do things right. I'm hoping to switch to illustration. Before all that, I need to finish compiling my portfolio with about 4 more planned pieces, all of which are in the process of being created currently, but I need to get craking.
Just thought I'd share that with people if you all are interested.. if not, this is just a mental confirmation for me... either way, it works for the both of us..
