heya
well as promised, i'm gonna tell u about my day! biggrin
okay, so today was olympics day at school. my group first started off with english. it was okay stare -the assignment was rubbish but we had awesome teachers-mr swain and mr diggle. they kept on doing impressions of famous people and complaining about each others cd collection! lol
then we had judo ninja . we actually wore the jackets they wear in judo biggrin . it was really fun appart from i kept on doing it wrong so my friend kept on hurting her head sweatdrop !
afterwards we made an athletes top for our country (our country was ghana). i made a funky star with a pattern to go on the top. it was cool cool !
after that, everyone had to go to the new sports hall. there were a lot of important people there like the mayor and the mp and blah blah blah!
but the most important person there was Ron Atkinson, aka the guy who managed lots of football clubs including west brom, aston villa and man united! he was there to offically open the new sports hall and to give out certificates to the winning countries-ghana won in art and technolgy! mrgreen
then the dance teacher and a few groups showed us a dance to 'low' by flo rida. then they asked everyone to join in but because we couldn't see it, me and my friend did our own dance-including the robot! dramallama
then to finish it all off-mrs goodlife gave an announcement. the government has given our school a grant of....HALF A MILLION POUNDS!!!
