Master's Coming..
Shadows don't usually scare me, but this one freaked me out. My mind was racing, my heart trying to fly out of my chest. The merry smile I wore only moments ago while talking to her melted from my face like a gooey marshmellow. --She didn't even notice. My legs felt like mud; I wouldn't be able to run even if I wanted to, not that I could anyways.. And still she kept blabbing about how its impossible to drink a gallon of milk without throwing up; still oblivious to my expression, and not to mention her mouth full of mango. Finally I snapped and got her to hush; I took a step foward into the darkness before me. I spoke to the figure I recognized deep within, "M.. Master?" My voice was only a whisper. I watched him step forward, and I stepped back in turn, until we were in the light that burned him and I both. "You can't run away anymore, Celt, and this time, you'll suffer the consequences." Gasping for air as my throat closed tight with fear, Bunny finally got the picture; finally recognized who it was and ran. It was very dangerous here, and finally, finally, she figured it out. This was the moment that gave me nightmares; the thing I would wake up screaming about after dreaming. It was Judgment Day, and he was not only the judge, he was the jury and executioner. He would be the one to deliver my punishment. "As I've said many a time before, no one cares what you think, so do what your told..." He trailed off, but I knew the rest. Only seconds later he lit a flame, and I remembered from past punishments what would happen. He would lob it at me and laugh while I suffered, throwing more fiery balls at me if I screamed in pain. I had gotten so many scars through the centuries, I didn't want nor did I need anymore.. I had had a break; it was this fifteen years of a 'new life', but it was time to get back to reality. He threw his hand back, ready to pitch.. Until Theo came out behind him with a sword in his hands.. And it just so happened to be my sword he was holding.
