The war in Afganistan has worstened,
It is growing worse each day.
No one understands
That this is the wrong game to play.
As our soldiers die in the fields,
And familys at home wait for them there,
A thought enters my mind,
A thought I cannot bear.
Our soldiers are fighting for our freedom,
Risking their lives just for us.
Our happieness, and our comfort,
But they will never return to us.
This has made me think of life its self.
What life would be like without them.
So, here in Canada, we prey for their peace,
And safty among each soldier, man, and woman.
